International Experience

Russia

From 2003-2006 I lived in Russia. Besides learning the language and pursuing research activities, this gave me deep insight into the mentality and culture of the Russian people. Individual travels to Caucasus and through Siberia let me become familiar with the Russian life outside the big cities.

USA

For 4 months I lived and worked in Boston, USA.

South America and Asia

During my time as a student I used the semester breaks in order to travel individually through a number of countries in South America (Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, Brasil) and Asia (India, Nepal, China). Altogether I spent around 5 months on each of the continents.
